Dental Veneers

Dental veneers are thin pieces of tooth-coloured porcelain that are applied to the front of your teeth to enhance your smile. They are used to refresh crooked, chipped, uneven and misshapen teeth, teeth that are too small or too large, or discoloured teeth. Porcelain veneers are minimally invasive, extremely durable and are often used as alternatives to crowns.

Steps to Dental Veneers

  1. Veneers are generally applied over two visits, with little or no anesthesia. During the first visit, we take a detailed impression or mold and a veneer colour will be chosen to match your existing teeth.
  2. The veneers are produced.
  3. At the second appointment, cement is applied and hardened with a specialized beam of light.

Caring for Porcelain Veneers

Detailed care instructions will be provided at your final appointment. Proper tooth care and cleaning, along with regular visits to your dentist will ensure that your new veneers maintain their strength and beauty for many years.
